ACCREDIATION

Summit Theism University aims to train both existing and aspiring leaders in theological related studies. Upon completion of their studies, students can work in religious related fields or start their own NGO in the religion field.

This institution offers only educational programs that prepare students for religious vocations as ministers, professionals, or laypersons in the categories of ministry, counseling, administration and management, leadership, theology, education, fine arts, or social work or religious communication etc.

USA Accreditation

The U.S. Department of Education states that accreditation itself is a voluntary process. Many high-quality, legitimate, and legal universities and other institutions of higher education operate today without accreditation. There is no mandate by federal law for a university to be accredited. Many good schools are not accredited. Also, each accreditor has its unique standards, and thus, there is no national consistency in institutional accreditation. Accreditation in the United States is awarded by non-US governmental agencies. Again, accreditation is strictly a voluntary option in the United States, especially in the field of religion, as the U.S. Constitution gives freedom of religion, which cannot be restricted even in the field of religious education as compared to secular education.

The United States has no Federal Ministry of Education or other centralized authority exercising single national control over post-secondary educational institutions in this country. The States assume varying degrees of control over education, but institutions of higher education in general and religious institutions of higher education are specifically permitted to operate with considerable independence and autonomy. Some state exempts religious institutions of higher education from Accrediting and licence requirements and allow them to grant degrees legally without Govt. Oversight if they are providing religious education in a specific denomination to allow them to teach and preach of a specific denomination's beliefs and practice with their own designed curriculum and staff. As there is no specific Accreditation agency for Islamic studies for Sunny denominational, Summit Theism University desires to remain separate and thereby maintain our religious prerogatives and freedom to compose courses and design degree programs that are by our religious convictions and beliefs. again no one should be confused with Accrediation and legitimati9n or recognition of a higher education instution as here are many universities which have legal presence in U.S.A and whose degree are considered recognized but they are lack of accrediation and such universities also issues admission to foreign students and visas are granted by the U.S emabassies around the world to the students to study in these institutions irrespective of accrediation,'s status as accrediation is voluntry option for such institutions. Accrediation are saught mainly for federal grants and loan for the university's students while religious universities preffered affordable religious education for the students seeking sacred path of spirituality and God's calling and seeking accrediation make this education expensive as accrediation process is very costl to meet criteria of accrediation.

Summit Theism University University is a private corporation in the state of Florida and legally authorized by the Florida State Board of Independent Colleges and Universities (SBICU) with a religious exemption authority to offer degree programs that are designed solely for religious vocations. University makes no claims, implied or otherwise, that our educational programs, courses, or curricula are the same as offered by secular state colleges and universities.Graduates have the legal right to use degree title awarded in conjunction with the ministerial status conferred with the option to be either an active or non-active Minister with the IMM. Graduates

have the fullegal right to use doctoral titles awarded in conjunction with the ministerial status conferred.For the reasons stated, therefore, you must have a ministerial status to practice legally. As explain such ministerial status through our degree programms.

Our desire to remain free from the control of any federal, state, or private agency controlled by the same will not allow complete religious freedom in our curriculum and student body. Summit Theism University makes no guarantee of the acceptance of STU credits to other institutions. Transfer of credits from STU to other institutions of learning is solely up to the discretion and desire of the institution where the student is applying. Students are encouraged to inquire how the educational institution into which they plan to transfer concerning the transferability of credits received through any other institution in advance of enrollment.

The vast majority of religious institutions of higher education choose to remain indifferent regarding choosing regional accreditation.

Summit Theism University has fulfilled rigorous educational requirements in our determination to acquire and maintain a quality educational program. STU is a state-authorized school, recognized by the Florida Department of Education's Commission for Independent Education, having fully met and exceeded the requirements of state law. Additionally, in each of the many states where STU has campuses, we have met and exceeded the requirements of their State Departments of Education as well.
